I will dearly miss Claudine. I was honored to be her friend, and I so admired her "joie de vivre". My sincere condolences to her family.

Dad and I treasure the wonderful dinner we enjoyed with Claudine at West Point on the 70th anniversary for the Class of 1944 in which both Dad and Frank graduated. Claudine was a force of nature, always vibrant, engaged and unforgettable. I have a memory of every one of the times our paths crossed since Philip and Leslie played with our children in Alexandria while in grade school. A regret is that our paths did not cross more often as we were often in different parts of the country. Claudine's was a storied life, well lived; she made a difference, and leaves a wonderful legacy in her amazing children.

What an energetic, adventurous and fun loving mentor she was. She was brave and full of mischief, always allowing me to live vicariously through her travel newsletters. If anyone could be immortal, I thought it would be her based solely on her passion for life and curiosity. The world was so lucky to have her and we will all miss her dreadfully.

Louise,
Our heartfelt thanks for your remembrance of our mother, which truly captures and honors her spirit that we all appreciated so much and will keep in our memory.
