I feel most fortunate and blessed to have been able to work with Jim Zalewski concerning funeral matters. I believe he embodies what a funeral director should be. He not only is an incredibly knowledgeable professional who can seamlessly take care of every aspect of a funeral with the utmost skill and ease but he can take what is a devastating time in one’s life and compassionately walk you hand-in-hand through the process. He has such a big heart…I will always feel so grateful to him for all his kindness, caring, and expertise. He and his staff are what make Everly-Wheatley the only funeral home I would ever consider choosing in my time of need.
My family were in a search for a funeral home after mom suddenly pass away. Everly Wheatley was our second and final one we visited. From the initial visit Karyn made us feel welcome and at ease. Her professionalism and knowledgeable made a very tough situation a lot easier. She kept us abreast of very step she was taking. Her caring ways make you feel like she is the only family she is working with. I can’t express my thankfulness enough for how she claimed our nervousness and took care of my mom. She made everything perfect! She is the best.
My family and I are beyond grateful for our experience with the Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home. The level of empathy, patience, guidance, and astute professionalism is unmatched. We have conducted business with multiple funeral service providers throughout the years but none can compare to Everly-Wheatley by any parameters. The entire staff should be commended. They were genuine and unpretentious during one of our most difficult times. Specifically, Jim Zalewski was a Godsend to us.
My husband died suddenly at age 57, a few months before we had hoped to begin retirement planning.
I can't imagine a better experience than I had with Funeral Director Karyn Lord and her colleagues. She was the epitome of professionalism and caring. I felt as if my husband was cared for by a dear friend.
She was also extremely patient with my ceaseless questions, concerns, and requests.
I was the editor of a funeral publication several years ago. Karyn and her colleagues surpassed any service I've ever heard of or experienced.
I can never thank her enough.
My wife Pat (Bauerschmidt) Dickey were friends back when the TTCY was active. John was a member of our group. Pat has died ,so I send God's Blessing on the Savage Family.
