Acha Pananon passed away peacefully on November 3, 2019 at the age of 74. He was born in Thonburi, Thailand on March 11, 1945, and is survived by his loving wife Ausanee W. Pananon, daughter Isra Pananon and partner Julia Weeks, George the Cat, stepmother Chaweewan Pananon, mother-in-law Phunsri Wahl, sisters and brothers Benjawan, Suwat, Pranee, Jaruboon, Prayoonpan, Thipmala (Ann), sisters and brothers-in-law Ed, Toy, Bill, Usa, Michael, Pam, uncle and aunt Chaichana and Eomporn Yahirun, and his many cousins and nieces and nephews.
Acha spent his career in testing and manufacturing at major companies as a lead electronics technician and supervisor. He was a veteran of the Royal Thai Air Force and was an outstanding and enthusiastic Army Dad. He also loved the Washington Redskins and took every opportunity to wear burgundy and gold. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The family invites you to attend a funeral service at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home at 1500 W. Braddock Road, Alexandria, VA 22302 on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at 12pm. A reception after the service will be held at Thai Thai Restaurant, 5123 Lee Highway, Arlington, VA 22207.
The family also wishes to thank the Thai Funeral Association, Abbots of Wat Yarnna Rangsee, the staff of Everly-Wheatley, and the many first responders, nurses, social workers, and doctors that supported the Pananon family over the past few years.
