Alice 'Betty' Elizabeth Kendrick

Alice 'Betty' Elizabeth Kendrick passed away peacefully on October 22, 2020 at the age of 88. Born in Massachusetts, Betty was a life-long resident of Falls Church, Virginia. 

Betty was a dedicated nurse who  was passionate about her work in the labor and delivery wing at Fairfax Hospital for over 25 years. Betty and her husband Leon also devoted themselves to loving and raising numerous foster children in their home for over 13 years. 

Betty was predeceased by her husband Thomas Leon Kendrick, she is survived by her four sons; Thomas, Karl, Gary and David Kendrick, grandchildren; Garth, Alex, Bridget, Tracy, Shane, Crystal, Craig, Carly, Rhiannon and Morgan as well as numerous great-grandchildren. 

A visitation will be held at Everly Wheatley Funeral Home 1500 W. Braddock Rd. Alexandria, VA 22302 on Monday, October 26th from 6 to 8 pm. 

Interment will be held on Tuesday, October 27th at 11 am at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA.
