Ann Patricia McGee

Ann Patricia McGee passed away at home on Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 at the age of 88. At the time of her death she was surrounded by all of her daughters. 

Mrs. McGee was born on June 8th, 1931 in Providence, Rhode Island to James R. Mainey and Madelyn G. Mainey. She married Joseph P. McGee in 1954. 

After raising her daughters, she enjoyed a successful second career as a financial planner. She was a devoted grandmother, who loved traveling with friends & family. She took great joy in her time spent with family, and especially loved family dinners filled with laughter. She also enjoyed playing cards and an occasional glass of wine with her close friends. A true model of strength and perseverance, her love, laughter and wit will be missed by all.

She is survived by her four daughters, Joanna P. McGee, Karen A. McGee, Michaella A. Machado, and Mellissa C. Wojciak, and her eight grandchildren, Justin Voccola, Ryan Voccola, Shannon Hurley, Connor Hurley, Olivia Voccola, Adam Wojciak, Alexander Wojciak and Madeline Wojciak. 

A funeral mass celebrating the life of Ann Patricia McGee (1932-2020) will be held Tuesday, February 25th at 10am Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1427 W Braddock Rd, Alexandria, VA 22302) with a Memorial luncheon immediately following at Army Navy Country Club, Williamsburg Room (1700 Army Navy Dr, Arlington, VA 22202).
