Elizabeth Jeanne Brennan

Elizabeth Jeanne Brennan of Alexandria, VA, beloved wife of the late James J. Brennan, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2019 at 93 years young.  She is survived by her daughters, Vicki (Phil), Patti, and son, Tim, and Grandson, Shawn.

Jeanne was born in Manson, Iowa but resided in the Washington, DC Metro Area for 70+ years.  She was a career “Super Secretary” for the Department of Labor and the Department of Defense.  She was also a “Super Mom/Grammee” and was most proud of her three children, son-in-law, and grandson.  She enjoyed spending time and celebrating life events with them and her world travels with Tim. She was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church since 1953.  She loved her Washington Sports Teams...  especially the Washington Nationals.  A celebration of life/visitation will be held at Everly Wheatley Funeral Home on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 11am, followed by a gravesite service at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery and a Reception at the Blessed Sacrament former Rectory (1415 W. Braddock Rd).  Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  www.stjude.org
