EVA MARIE (PEREGOY) BEHAN

Of Alexandria, Virginia, on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at the age of 76.  Beloved wife of 58 years to Joseph Behan Sr.; loving mother of Vivian (Behan) Ripley, Robin Behan, Joseph Behan Jr. (Jennifer), William Behan (Dara); cherished grandmother of Justin (Bethany), Amanda, Liam, Samuel, Jessica, Ella and Abigail; and the best great-grandmother of Skylar.  She is survived by her brother Alton. Eva was cherished by her family, cousins, nieces, nephews and the many friends she made in her life.  Eva was a native of Alexandria, graduating from George Washington High School.  She loved telling family stories to all who were dear to her.  A viewing will take place on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home (Alexandria).  Services will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at 10:30am at Everly-Wheatley immediately following with burial at National Memorial Park.  Donations can be made in memory of Eva to Bishop Ireton High School Alexandria, VA.
