Frank was born in Enid, Oklahoma on March 28, 1962, but grew up in Weatherford, Oklahoma, where he was educated and subsequently enlisted in the US Army in 1985. Frank served in the 565th Engineer Detachment in Hawaii as a terrain specialist. After his enlistment with the Army, he was employed in multiple aspects of security in Oklahoma and Texas. In 1989, he moved to Herndon, Virginia in transitioning to the Department of the Navy’s Security Division, where he remained for 10 years. Following becoming an independent contractor, Frank and Li-Jin Chew were married in 2000. Frank continued to forge his career as a Network specialist, building and approaching both professional and personal relationships alike with trademark humor, humility and heart, until his sudden demise on January 5, 2020.
Frank is survived by his wife, Li-Jin Chew of Alexandria, Virginia; Sister, Tammy Renee Rosamond of Utah; Brother and Sister-in-Law, Michael and Sibylle Rosamond of California. He is also survived by 2 nieces and 2 nephews, Katharina Rosamond of Regensburg, Germany, Christopher Rosamond of Prescott, Arizona, Theresa (Rosamond) Gillam of Manhattan, Kansas, and Kent Harmon of Utah. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Aloma Rosamond of Weatherford, Oklahoma.
