Guy W Colvin

Guy W Colvin 97, of Alexandria, VA passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Mattie Colvin and their son Jimmy Colvin. He is survived by his children Tom Colvin (Karen), Ann Taylor, Sandy Colvin, Michael Colvin (Cathy) and Rob Colvin (Donna). Also survived by his six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, 3 nephews, 2 sisters-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Guy’s name to the American Heart Association or the National Museum of the United States Army at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 4pm until 7pm at the Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home 1500 W. Braddock Rd. Alexandria, VA 22302.  A funeral will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 11am at Ivy Hill Cemetery 2823 King St. Alexandria, VA 22302.
