Jean Natter, 83 of Alexandria, VA. died on Tuesday November 8, 2022 at Lynn Care Center in Front Royal, VA from natural causes. Jean was born in Alexandria, VA on July 12,1939. Jean graduated from Mount Vernon High School. Daughter of the late Albert “Gump“ Natter and Elsie Beavers, also of Alexandria, VA. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Brenda Jean Phillips of Alexandria, VA.
Jean always enjoyed having family and friends over for special get togethers. She loved preparing food and made many special cakes through the years. There was always plenty to eat. Jean loved decorating for the holidays, it was quite beautiful at her house. Her number one hobby was going to flea markets and yard sales, she was good at it. Jean loved redecorating her house with the items she found. Jean had an out-going personality and enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends.
Jean is survived by her sister Julia Herring; her loving son Carl “Clint” Phillips Jr. and wife Ann E. Phillips; granddaughter Heather Jean Phillips and husband D.J. Andrews; great grandson Jamie Sponsler; great granddaughter Stormi Andrews; step grandchildren James Rose, Meredith Rose, Kyle Rose; Neices Linda Robey and Jackie Morrow; and nephews Wesley Higham and Donnie Higham.
A visitation will be held at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. A funeral service will be held at the Mount Comfort Cemetery Chapel on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11:30 a.m.
