Passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at her home in Ft. Belvoir, VA. Beloved wife for 64 years of the late Capt. John L. Woodbury, Jr., Joan is survived by her son Leland, his wife Judith and their children Asher and Clea; son Wilson, his wife Kristin, and their child John; her daughter Lynda, her husband John Michael Sr., and their children Marlee, Jennifer, and John Michael, Jr. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church, 118 N. Washington Street, Alexandria, VA on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10:30 am. Inurnment at the US Naval Academy at a later date. Donations in lieu of flowers may be sent to Christ Church Foundation at the above address.
