Joseph Anderson Grigg

On August 28th, 2018 Joseph Anderson Grigg, Sr.  of Alexandria, VA at age 100 passed.  Devoted husband of Shirley Marie Grigg, loving father of Rebecca Ann Jackson (Larry) and Joseph Anderson Grigg, Jr.  Beloved grandfather of Larissa Marie (Alexander), Jay Miles, and Justin William (Sarah) Jackson, and great grandson Peter. He is also survived by his brother James E. Grigg (June), and the late Virginius W. (Gertrude), Elijah H. (Minnie), Thomas G. Grigg (Lena) and sister Elaine I. Kappes (Frank), and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was born and raised in Buckingham County Virgnia and will return to rest with his parents Elijah H. Grigg, Sr. and Minnie Guthrie Grigg Wise. Visitation will be held at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home in Alexandria, VA on Thursday, August 30th from 3PM to 7PM, and burial will be held at Salem Methodist Church in Dillwyn, Virginia on August 31 , 2018.
