Margaret Weiners Carroll

Entered peacefully into eternal life on October 30, 2021, at her home, leaving her loving husband of 74 years, James D. Carroll, daughter Theresa Carroll Daly (John), and son Daniel P. Carroll. She was born in Alexandria, VA, on December 26, 1925, to Edward J. and Virginia Downey Weiners and is predeceased by her three siblings, Julia Donovan (William), Louis E. Weiners (Patricia), and Rosemary Weiners. She was valedictorian of her 1942 class at St. Mary’s Academy, Alexandria. Her greatest joy in life, was her role as a loving wife and mother. A lifelong member of St. Mary’s Parish, she had a deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Family will receive visitors at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 Braddock Rd., on Sunday, November 7, from 3-6 p.m., with Rosary at 4:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Basilica of St. Mary, Alexandria, on Monday, November 8, at 10:30 a.m. with interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
