Marie Kathleen Mudd

Marie Kathleen Chichester Mudd, age 100, a native of Alexandria, Virginia, died May 20, 2020 at Culpeper Garden Assisted Living in Arlington. Born December 20, 1919, she was the beloved wife of the late Eugene J. Mudd, daughter of Herman F. Chichester and Annie Elizabeth Hammersly Chichester, the twin sister of Aileen Jelinski and is survived by many nieces and nephews. She retired from Woodward-Lothrop and was a longtime parishioner of St. Rita Catholic Church in Alexandria.

Aunt Kitty (Katsy) was a bright, cheerful and loving person who contributed to many funds supporting American Indians. Memorial contributions may be made to the charitable organization of your choice.

A private family viewing will be held at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home with a graveside service at Mount Comfort Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
