Michael V. Washington

Michael Vincent Washington, known to all as Mike, passed away on July 11, 2021 in Manassas, Virginia, at the age of 70.  Mike was born in Alexandria, VA on March 13, 1951.  He was the devoted husband of 25 years to Sharon Washington; loving father of Jennifer Penkunas (Joe) and Karen Washington; step father of Michelle Boyero (Bob); grandfather of Emma, Tripp and Benjamin Penkunas, Alyssa Morgan, Daniel Brown, and Ryan, Ryley and Jake Boyero; great grandfather of two; sister Diane Bigley (Dennis). He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mary Washington of Alexandria, VA.

There will be a memorial service at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Road, Alexandria, VA 22302 on Wednesday, July 21st at 11am. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association (heart.org) or the Prince William County Animal Shelter, 14807 Bristow Road, Manassas, VA 20112. Please see links below.
