Raymond Joseph Welch

Raymond Joseph Welch of Alexandria, Virginia died on Wednesday, June 29, 2018, at the age of 92. He is preceded in death by both parents, Emanuel and Josephine Agnes Flynn Welch, and two brothers, John Francis and Edwin. Ray is survived by his loving wife Josephine Lepcio Welch.  They were married in 1955, and had two children – a son, Raymond Jr. (wife Deborah) of Annandale, Virginia; and a daughter, Mary Frances Durham of Dallas, Texas.  He has two grandchildren, Patrick and Matthew Welch of Arlington, Virginia.

Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.  

Donations in Ray’s name may be made to Blessed Sacrament School or Queen of Apostles Schools, or a charity of choice.

This loving man will be missed by many.
