Robert "Buddy" Merritt Brenner, Jr.

Robert M. Brenner Jr., 59, of Lorton, Virginia, passed away May 7, 2023, at Virginia Hospital Center. Born July 26, 1963, in Beaver Falls, Robert was the son of the late Robert Brenner and Charlette Kirchel. Robert is survived by his wife, the former Laurie Ann Frazier. In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Brenner and Sarah Brenner; his granddaughter, Amelia; and his four siblings, Megan Carpenter, Becky Harman, Kris Yurkovich and Matt Kirchel.

He was a graduate of Lawrence County Vo-Tech High School. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and served for 20 years before retiring. Following his military service, he accepted a job as an independent IT contractor performing network administrator roles for the U.S. Army and spent 15 years living overseas in various countries such as Qatar and United Arab Emirates.
Robert enjoyed traveling, festivals, fishing and Coney Island chili dogs.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home at 1500 W Braddock Road, Alexandria, VA 22302.
