Roy Dallas Peyton

Roy Dallas Peyton, 95, of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away April 15, 2024 in Alexandria, Virginia.

Roy was born in Alexandria to Dallas Llewellyn and Bertha Katherine Peyton on November 7, 1928. His first marriage to Catherine Skillman ended in divorce. He married Norma Jean Dennison in 1977.

He worked as a cartographic technician for the United States Geological Survey for 37 years. He was active in dance with the Bachelors and Bachelorettes.

Roy is preceded in death by his wife Norma. 

Roy is survived by his three children Kenneth Peyton (Cynthia), Carolyn Salman, and Michael Peyton (Alice), eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Viewing will be at 10:00 AM, April 22, 2024, followed by funeral services at 10:30 at Everly-Wheatly Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA. Burial will follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery.
