To my dear wife, best friend, lover, companion and life's partner:

Words cannot express how much I am going to miss the young girl I met in the elevator on the 39th floor of the USS Building on a Friday in May of 1981. You came into my complicated life, accepted me for who I was and we became a couple. It couldn't have been easy for you and it was difficult for me too.

We ended up spending 36 years together through thick and thin and I believe we covered every phase of the vows we took on September 6, 1986. We had our moments of tribulation but our love for each other, made them melt away.

Even when we hit hard times and so many people who we thought were our closest friends left us like dust in the wind, our love survived. Mollie, the little girl you adopted, grew up fine, had a great college life at FSU, found love and gave us the greatest grandson on earth. Tommy had such a special love for you and I know you heard him take the podium after I had finished and thought I had wrapped up your service. To see a young man of 8 years old, hold the congregation on the edge of their seats with his tribute to you, was amazing. Unfortunately no one recorded it for posterity. His pure truth and honesty was beyond words. His opening line of promising not to tell any jokes "so no one would pee their pants" brought the house down. And his admition that he doesn't have a great poker face when playing OLD MAID was as sincere as you could get. I know you will watch over him and be his guardian angel for all time to come.

May the angels come to greet you and may our Lord, Jesus Christ extend his loving arms and embrace you as you enter his kingdom. May you rest in peace with all those who have gone before you and are now reuinited with you for all of eternity.

Until we meet again, I send my love and never ending devotion.

Yours forever and ever. Amen.

Tomsche
